Exactly what you would expect: great Mexican food. I'm something of a picky eater, but they still have enough of a variety that I found a great meal. Service was fast, beer was cold, restaurant was clean... I highly recommend this joint for when you are in the mood for some good south of the border food.

Very very good Mexican restaurant. Had the chicken quesadilla and boy was it good. Service was very quick and pleasant. Ambiance was nice, kind of felt like I was actually eating at restaurant in Mexico. Would strongly suggest this restaurant to others looking for a pleasant Mexican dining experience

We love El Paso. Being from California and loving authentic Mexican food (and missing it), El Paso is right on target. Wonderful service as well and spectacular food. The atmosphere is great for families or for a date night. And we love the homies on the corner shelf!

We experienced excellent service, food and atmosphere during our first time here. Portion sizes are large and prices are great. I had dinner #8 with chicken enchilada, tamale, rice and beans. It came within five minutes and was hot and absolutely delicious! Chips and salsa were fresh and plentiful.

If you like Chi Chi's, you'll love El Paso. But if you want authentic Mexican food, try some other place because this is not it. It's possible that salt is the only spice they know because everything was very salty and otherwise pretty bland. The burritos were soggy and the fish tacos looked unlike any taco I've ever seen. The children's taco looked like it had come out of an "El Paso" taco dinner box. This was a highly disappointing dinner. The good stuff: the wait staff was very nice and attentive and the red salsa in the cute carafes was good. Also, they kept the chips coming throughout dinner, which was nice but a bit of overkill.

Don't get me wrong, this place is ok, but not healthy at all. When I order a chicken salad, I expect that it is going to be a grilled chicken salad on a bed of rice and mixed with fresh vegetables. Wrong was I. The best comparison I can make to the kind of chicken that is on this salad is that it's like going to the food court at the mall and getting the chicken from the Japanese restaurant that is covered in oil and basically fried. Then, the whole salad is COVERED with shredded cheese. The cheese is no joke, people. There is a ton, and I would suggest asking for lite cheese or none at all if you're trying to diet. The veggies were fresh, but the rice was Lipton-esque. Service was kind and prompt, and if you're looking for a lot of food for a little price, this place is an ok choice.

Chori pollo is awesome! White cheese dip with nachos is awesome too! Great place for Mexican! It is our every other Monday ritual. If you have a hankering for Mexican in Beaver County, this is the place.

I really like El Paso. It is delicious as well as inexpensive. I have gone three times and had purchased the same meal each time because it is so yummy!

LOVE these gus! They are seriously the best restaurant in Chippewa Township. The workers are always happy. They have a twinkle in their eye and a skip in their feet. The food comes out fast and delicious and there really is nothing that beats them in the area. Everything else is just kind of like going to the GetGo. These guys have a fantastic take out service too! My favorite night is El Paso dinner night! Yummmm.

I enjoyed El Paso in part because it shares some elemental DNA with one of my favorite Mexican places in my old neighborhood in Ohio - they have the same carafe of salsa, the same "we recommend the combination plate if this is your first time at a Mexican restaurant" wording on the menu, and the same "Speedy Gonzalez" lunch special. Was it innovative? No, but everything was well-executed and undeniably tasty - plus, they offered more than 20 lunch specials, all well under $7, many under $6. I cannot make a queso fundido chicken burrito complete with rice, salad and guacamole for that kind of money without getting 89 pans dirty and spending an hour and a half in the kitchen with my sleeves rolled up, so delivering some of my favorite comfort food at a great price with good service is much appreciated.

Went for my birthday dinner. Had a great time the entire meal. At first I was overwhelmed by the the size of the menu, so I asked the waiter for his assistants and he brought me a meal that to die for. The service was five . To top off the birthday dinner I was given a shot of Tequila that was the best. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend.

The service here is excellent and fast! We have eaten here a couple times and we are never disappointed. This past visit we went for lunch. Our server was prompt with refills and the number 18 was delicious. We will be back.

We eat at El Paso once or twice a month -- it's consistent, fast, and affordable. There's little we haven't tried at El Paso, from the soups to the flan, the specials and the standard combinations. It's all good, especially for the price and the excellent service. The chicken enchilada soup is a personal favorite. I order the soup with Combination 4, for a great meal. I also like the molcajete, which refers to the serving bowl -- a traditional spice grinder. A rich broth, with the vegetable mix used for fajitas, is served in the bowl with a mix of meats. It's a great change of pace when you don't want a burrito or enchilada. The steak used for some dishes is a bit dry and overcooked at times, but the chicken is always excellent. I'm not a fan of ground beef, because it seems oily and fatty no matter where you have it. Go with the chicken at El Paso. For people complaining that this isn't "authentic" Mexican, I'm not sure that "real Mex" would work here. You can't serve mole or menudo and expect people to form a line at the door. My wife and I are from California, and my favorite Mex is "Tex-Mex" in the Dallas area. Only L.A. taco trucks come close. El Paso is about as good as you'll get in the Beaver County area.

We always love to stop in at El Paso. It's been a great place to eat with the family (kids enjoy it) or with friends. The wait staff has been great and willing to do anything if you ask. We've eaten at both locations (Ohio and Chippewa) and both have been good. I recommend the chicken or shrimp entrees. They're usually a little more tender than the steak. The chorizo is good anytime.

Touche Beaver County....(is this even in beaver county???). Good... Great even... Authentic (some of it) Mexican in the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania. o.O This place has the generic Mexican vibe that most place have, but the food was great. They give you chips and salsa... not great, but not bad. I asked for spicy salsa, and this was sooo much better than the bland no spice that the automatically bring to the table. I got the Authentic Mexican Chiles Poblanos (not to be confused with their american cousin, regular chiles poblanos). They were perfect.. fried egg, gooey cheese, and nice sized pepper...mmmmmm. Not that I think I will ever be out this way again, but if I am, this is where I will be eating.

El Paso was one of our favorite restaurants when they first opened at their old location, but since moving to darlington road and also opening several other locations, their quality has really dropped. The food also arrives within minutes of ordering, making me wonder exactly how fresh it's made. If you're looking for a really quick Chi-Chis type of meal, then you will probably be somewhat satisfied by this place; but if not, then you'll be disappointed.

Excellent service. It always seems like I don't even have my jacket off yet and my meals are being delivered. Food is very good. They serve a drink that consists of an upside down Corona inside of a Margarita----good times.

If you read my other posts I tell it like is; good, bad, and ugly. Pet peeve is I really don't like bad sevice but hate lazy service even more (not clearing the table, asking to pass dishes/utensils at a table, bringing out appetizers with entrées, etc) This place is by far the best overall restaurant in Chippewa. The waiters and host are always friendly, attentive, and polite, The food is consistently good and we haven't had a bad meal yet from their extensive menu. OK so I will complain about one think. El Paso has officially moved from their old shopping plaza locale to this spacious, new building where The Evergreen once stood, and it seems that the food has improved along with the transition. When we walked in, all of the servers were wearing white shirts and black ties. The decor was decidedly south-of-the-border, and on a wintery Friday evening, the place was hopping. I had a fried Beef Chimichanga that was filled abundantly with fresh, fragile, succulent meat, all of it wrapped inside a tortilla that was as crisp as the night air. For dessert I had what may be the very best example of fried ice cream that has ever been placed in front of me. EP apparently uses their own quite excellent tortilla chips as the coating for this ball of frozen dairy product. Topped with a whipped cream that looked to be piped on sans aerosol, chocolate, and some sort of berry puree, I swooned and swayed like Stevie Wonder peforming Songs In The Key Of Life in its entirety in concert. The ice cream was housed inside a most delicate and sugary sopapilla basket that scrumptiously carried the sundae residue into my mouth along with a whisper of cinnamon. Kay's Seafood Chimichanga was equally well-appointed with chunks of grilled shrimp standing out amongst the onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Unfortunately, I'm still bored with their guacamole and their salsa, both of which taste eerily similar to Robinson's Jose Ole. The menu reads exactly the same as well. The service was quicker than Wally West, Jay Garrick, and Barry Allen combined! Pepin has nothing on these gents; good food fast indeed. I also couldn't get over how friendly everyone was to us and our fellow diners. EPMG is certainly becoming a fixture in Beaver Falls and locals are obviously becoming regulars. Watching customers joke with the Spanish-speaking staff was a heartwarming reminder of how immigration can make a positive impact on a region. I wish EPMG a bright future in their current home. P.S. EPMG has the following figurines on display near the cash register. I may start collecting them... homies.tv/catalog/homiec…

Well, we went here on Yelp reviews, and regret it. Husband had a "chili relleno" that looked like a mushy pot pie. We were told later that we should have asked for "authentic" rellenos! Who does that?? My taco salad has a thick layer of waxy white cheese, son's quesadilla was waxy, greasy, went uneaten. Chicken fingers for other son were more chicken nugget than recognizable meat. On the up side, salsa was good! Won't be going back.

Good Mexican food. I tend to order one of the numbered "specials" from the lower end of the menu, but there is a pretty wide range of price and quality. Lots of choices. Service is always very good, friendly, and the restaurant is always kept clean. Really nothing bad to say about El Paso.

Been here numerous times with family. Quick service, stellar food portions, and great atmosphere. Prices are good and the place is definitely worth checking out if you haven't been here. You will leave this place stuffed.

We loved Ole Jose in Robinson that closed. I heard this was owned by the same people so we took a ride to check it out. Wow same people only much better if that is possible. Great server food was fresh fast and delicious. Check this place out you will not be disappointed.

We went here with our whole family, and even though the restaurant was busy they sat us very quickly. The food was really good, and the menu is huge. Maybe a little too huge. Love the enchiladas I ordered. Very accommodating.

El Paso Mexican Grill was a lucky find for us. Excellent example of Tex-Mex food and very close to what we grew up eating in Central California Mexican restaurants! Some of the best rice we've eaten anywhere and excellent refried beans. Of particular note, however, is their chicken tortilla soup. The broth is very rich and flavorful and the chicken is tender. One bowl of that soup makes a great meal just by itself.

With a craving for good Mexican food I decided to eat here last weekend. The service is quick and the food fairly decent. The lunch specials are cheap and filling, that what I like to hear!!! There are two El Paso of these family owned locations, here in Chippewa and one in East Liverpool, OH. They servers start you with a basket of their homemade (I think) nacho chips and a salsa that is more puree than chunky. On this visit I decided to order "Lunch Special #9". Don't let the vague name deter you, 'cuz this ain't your lunch special surprise. This meal includes 2 deep fried rolled corn tortillas with beef, rice, and "salad". Now the salad is nothing more than shredded lettuce with sour cream and tomatoes, but you can put this on your two tortillas. I LOVED these tortillas! Crispy and oh-so-bad but oh-so-good fried beef. The rice was a touch bland, but this is authentic. The stereotype is that Mexican food is all tacos and spicy, but that is FAR from the truth. You want to put blisters in your mouth, then try one of the hot sauces on the table. I am still hard pressed to find a superior AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant, but this is a nice place to grab a quick meal. And I do mean QUICK! I think Darren and I were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Only been here once that's why I'm giving it only 4 stars. I don't know maybe my next visit could be shitty? I don't know. I doubt that. I had the quesadilla rellena which was pretty good. Everyone at our table loved the food which came out super fast. I just wish the salsa was spicier. We asked for the spicier salsa and that want spicy either. The service was was quick, attentive, and friendly. Can't wait to come back and give it another go!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
